could anyone please tell me if there are any stretches of the ogmore where you can take a well behaved dog with you while you fish.. cheers..

Taffy,
regarding your question about taking dogs fishing. Unfortunately it would be subject to permission from landowners as to whether you can take dogs onto their land on large stretches of our water. On public areas of land such as Newbridge Fields, Bridgend town Centre, Wildmill etc you would have the same rights as any member of the public.

please see your club rules-byelaws:general 7 No member shall take a dog with him onto private property where he may have permission to fish!!!!!!

OAA1 and goldhead thanks for the replys iam aware of the no dogs rule as to being on private land while fishing, but i have seen members fishing with thier dog below the swing bridge and at the newbridge fields that is why i asked the question. thanks again both..
