Hi all -
Last September Ian Finylas was kind enough to give me a tour of the catchment, during which I think I made a note that the club has a voluntary agreement with Bridgend Council not to wade and fish in the walkway area in the middle of town.
Can anyone confirm that this is correct - or otherwise? Or is it possible to wade, whilst being careful not to hit passers-by on the walkway by eg side-casting over the water only?
Many thanks!

Theo,
Wading and fishing is permitted at the walkway site in Bridgend.
We advise members not to fly fish in this area due to the obvious health and safety implications although other methods are permitted.
Members may fly fish if they do so wish but the Association will not become involved should any incidents occur. We would obviously encourage only experienced fisherman to fly fish in this area.
