I'm a new member and whilst I've got the pack of maps etc, it would be great if the club would consider doing an induction event for people who are new to the river (appreciate that this would probably be best early next season now). Suggest that this is best done on the river to explain best access points, methods, conservation & cleaning programmes etc?

The Association organised an open evening for new members at the start of the 2008 season and 2 or 3 members attended despite this being widely advertised on the website and in newsletters.
Should any new (or existing members for that matter) have any difficulties or require any advice, our committee members would be only too pleased to assist. Forum members are also very good at offering advice to fellow members
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have regarding your membership.

Cowcast, theres a cleanup happening this Sunday morning if your interested. Although it's the last one of the season you're more than welcome to join in. The cleanup events are a good way to learn the river and the members that attend will be more than happy to share any advice to you. We meet at the Brewery Field car park at 9:30am. Hope to see you there.
