Well i never thought i would see the day when i had to ask for advice on fishing , joined the club last year but its pretty obvoius i need help in all aspects of fly fishing , have the gear can cast some shape but catching fish is another story so if anyone out there with experience who fishes local to Bridgend would like to give me a few pointers or tips this season i would be very greatful 44 years old and fishing since i was 8 none of it on the fly though ? mike....

Leeroy, which flies are you talking about in particular? If you are referring to the snakes etc, pm Tuniwes and he might be able to help you out. I'm not sure whether he still does orders though?

Well i never thought i would see the day when i had to ask for advice on fishing , joined the club last year but its pretty obvoius i need help in all aspects of fly fishing , have the gear can cast some shape but catching fish is another story so if anyone out there with experience who fishes local to Bridgend would like to give me a few pointers or tips this season i would be very greatful 44 years old and fishing since i was 8 none of it on the fly though ? mike.... hi mike pick your spots on the river you can cast easily in the day for night fishing to start with and another good tip is to get a copy of sea trout fishing by hugh falkus and read it straight away and then again, after that you can read it every march to sharpen yourself up for every new season lol good luck i like to fish at night usualy when the river is on its bones, im always on my own as i dont know many members myself bit of a loner ::)lol , but i do enjoy like minded company so if you would like couple of nights out this season i would be happy for the company and to lend a hand ;D iv always fished with a fly since i was 11yrs but still learning as you do in life lol tight lines and get the rod out regards berwyn
