Glad you highlighted the policy about contacting the police didn’t know that one.
We will have to agree to disagree on the police response, they wont and cant shy away from attending incidents they have been mobilised to. Thats what we pay our Taxes for.
Still happy to help you have my details, All the best Chris.

OAA 1,
In light of this seasons run of fish, and helping towards protecting the current migratory stock in the river system, please put my name down for some patrols in the coming months. I will personal message you my contact details.
Regards Chris M

Thank you Chris.
You are correct that the increased number of fish this season will need protecting on our spawning grounds in the absence of any EAW bailiffs.
I am currently discussing the issue of patrols and will post some information in the next few days on the forum.
Thank you for putting your name forward. If any other members can assist please contact me or indicate an interest on the forum.

Given the current river conditions and increase in migratory catches, there has been a big increase in illegal fishing and poaching in the last 72 hours.
Please do not ignore these incidents on the river and utilise our club bailiffs and Environment Agency where neccessary.
Retrospective reports are also very important to prove that incidents are taking place. Please use the online reporting system on our website.

There maybe an increase in salmon numbers, but the sewin run has been nothing short of dire, these are the lifeblood of the river and i hope their numbers pick up soon. jon

SERIOUS POACHING INCIDENTS REPORTED AROUND BRYNMENYN INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, ABERKENFIG AND BLACKMILL, GANGS WITH NETS CHASING AND NETTING FISH IN RIVER, ALSO TRYING TO FUOL HOOK IN WEIRS WITH WEIGHTED TREBLES. PLEASE ALL MEMBERS OF FORUM PAIR UP WITH A FRIEND AND SHOW YOUR PRESENCE, IT IS ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE.
